Senior Backend Engineer (Python)

The Role
- Build and own Python 3 backend services
- Design REST APIs and distributed systems (queues, schedulers, microservices)
- Ship, monitor, and support what you build
- Influence architecture and engineering standards
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- 5+ years professional engineering experience
- Strong Python (production-level, not scripts)
- Experience with relational databases and ORMs
- REST API experience (Flask, FastAPI, Django)
- Distributed systems experience
- Strong testing discipline
- AWS experience
- Clear communicator
Nice to have: LLM systems, infra-as-code, large data platforms, security domain exposure
